It was very close to everything, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had everything you need. The shower was really good hot water all the time and powerfull. The breakfast was really good I think this hotel was great value for its money and will go back.
The only thing that I didn't like was not having an elivator and we were on the 3rd floor. At least we done alot of excersize while we were there.
Good breakfast Central Bath (close to my family)
The stairs were exhausting. This questionaire doesn't allow for explanation: does "leisure: family or friends" cover funerals?
Stylish room, however pleased we were on a lower floor as there were many stairs to negotiate, Room was well presented and clean. Staff were friendly and breakfast in the Loch Fyne restaurant was very good. The hotel was central which made it easy for to explore Bath.
The stairs were tiring - especially with luggage!
The helpfulness of all the staffs !!!
No Reception Area on Ground Floor, and the 2nd Floor Reception is not being attended to at all time.
The hotel has a fantastic location. The rooms were pretty - lovely high ceilings and huge windows and very comfortable. The staff were very nice and were very good about keeping our luggage for an early arrival and late departure. Breakfast was very good. The fact that the hotel was so very well located also brought with it the unfortunate result of being rather noisy on the Friday night. All in all a great place to stay for a couple of days in Bath.
The kindness of staff, and big and comfort of the room size.
The facilities of there are a bit old, especally cloth shelf.
Good breakfast included. Great location
Bedroom small. Not 4 star, better described as 3 star accommodation
The location was great! And the view from the roof is amazing!
There is no proper entrance to the hotel, we checked in quite late and had to go through the entrance which goes to the restaurant's toilets. The smell from the seafood restaurant on the ground floor was spread across the hotel. Also, the room was quite dark and did not look like a 4-star hotel's room, the lights were quite poor, not enough attention to detail and the bathroom was quite disappointing. However, you do get value for money I suppose, since the stay there is quite cheap compared to other hotels in Bath.
Co-location with Lloch Fyne restaurant Comfortable bed and generous en suite Strategically placed for everything
Long and steep flights of stairs We should not be put in the position at the last minute of having to decide in front of staff whether to go for the tip option when paying the bill Staff not permanently on duty at reception-we should not have to send out a search party in order to check in. Excellent meals at the Lloch Fyne-except surprisingly some hard and over cooked sausages at breakfast.
Good location,clean & comfy
The lock fynn restaurant you have your breakfast in, not very good, had kippers over cooked so sent back new ones turned up the same, the problem being microwave then grilled , not great for a fish restaurant
Nice room and staff. Excellent location.
Room had obviously been cleaned, a more thorough vacuuming could have been done. Breakfast was ok but perhaps more fruit and choice.
Friendly helpful staff and Location
No Lift, poor engish breakfast, not value for money very basic.
Friendly staff and fabulous food, beautifully presented and superbly tasty. This is a very comfortable hotel in a central location and a great base for sightseeing and shopping in Bath.
There is no lift in this hotel, which has high ceilings and lots of stairs. At the weekend there was a lot of late-night street noise due to the proximity of nightclubs but the weekday nights were perfectly quiet.
The staff was very helpful and kind and the hotel itself was quaint and traditional.
This might not be the best hotle for someone with children.
location was great, as well as price, very nice breakfast, very comfortable bed and pillows.
no elevator, be prepared to climb alot of stairs. no airconditioning however there is a free standing electric fan.
